Leaning Oak is a magnificent, stone-built country home oozing charm and character. It’s a special place to relax and celebrate with family and friends.

Quietly nestled on the fringes of Mudgee is this exquisitely renovated residence set on 40 acres of rolling hills and green pastures, beautiful sunsets and night skies full of stars.

Living and Dining

The living and dining areas are of contemporary design. The long dining table comfortable sits 12 pax. The modern kitchen is well equipped with high-quality gas double oven and BBQ grill, fridge, microwave, dishwasher,  Saeco coffee machine, cooking basics such as pots and pans and good quality crockery and cutlery.

Sleeping Accommodation

There are four bedrooms comprising of:

• Bedroom one: 1 queen bed
• Bedroom two: 1 double bed
• Bedroom three: 1 double bed
• Attic: 2 single beds plus 2 extra mattresses
• Study: a double sofa bed

Guest Amenities

Two bathrooms, laundry with extra toilet, air conditioning, fireplace in both living rooms, washing machine, iron, hairdryer, WI-FI, TV with Netflix and a baby’s high chair.

Outdoor Facilities

Outdoors, you will find a saltwater pool and a covered alfresco area well set up with a BBQ, pizza oven, paella gas burner set and a bar fridge.

Note: Parts of the Leaning Oak property still operate as a working farm enterprise.  During your stay, you may be lucky enough to see our farm staff move cattle from one pasture to another. They’re only too happy to offer an insight into farm living. For bio-security reasons, we ask that you please not wander into the areas of the property that are operating as a working farm.
