Parts of the Leaning Oak property still operate as a working farm enterprise. During your stay, you may be lucky enough to see our farm staff move cattle from one pasture to another. They’re only too happy to offer an insight into farm living. For bio-security reasons, we ask that you please not wander into the areas of the property that are operating as a working farm.

OAK HILL
Brand new luxury accommodation in Mudgee
Oak Hill is a new, architecturally designed home perched among the treetops. Boasting breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and grounds, this beautiful property epitomises luxury accommodation in Mudgee.
Natural light floods in through the large, double-glazed glass panels allowing guests to enjoy the breathtaking 180-degree views of the surrounding countryside and Australian bush.
Internally, the European-inspired architecture features exposed timber beams, comfortable furnishings and all the modern conveniences of home.
Relax with a glass of local wine or beer when you throw back the bifold windows and relax in the undercover hot tub while you marvel at the breathtaking view across the countryside.
Featuring two bedrooms, Oak Hill comfortably accommodates four guests. The main bedroom features a dreamy queen bed with modern finishes and solar-operated roof skylights. The second queen bed is located in the loft above the bathroom and also features impeccable finishes and decor.
The bathroom (with underfloor heating) boasts a double shower plus a fully-featured hot tub.
Outside there is a firepit with lots of seating that looks out over the valley and distant hills.
Note: Depending upon any current fire restrictions, fire pit use may be restricted. As a safety precaution, we remove all firewood from the property during these times.
LEANING OAK
A meticulously restored luxury home filled with character and charm.
Quietly nestled on the fringes of Mudgee is this exquisitely renovated residence set on 40 acres of rolling hills and green pastures.
The living and dining areas are of contemporary design. The long dining table comfortably seats 12 guests. The modern kitchen is well equipped with high-quality gas double oven and BBQ grill, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, Saeco coffee machine, cooking basics such as pots and pans and good quality crockery and cutlery. For those cool country evenings, there is a fireplace in each living room.
There are four bedrooms. The master suite features a Queen bed and ensuite bathroom. Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have double beds. The quirky attic has 2 single beds plus 2 extra mattresses. The study has a soft bed and can be converted into a fifth bedroom.
The home features all the guest amenities you would expect at your luxury getaway. There are two bathrooms, a laundry with extra toilet, air conditioning, washing machine, iron, hairdryer, WI-FI, TV with Netflix and a baby’s high chair.
Outdoors, you will find a saltwater pool and a covered alfresco area well set up with a BBQ, pizza oven, paella gas burner set and a bar fridge.
